Any change of situation may affect your rights.
You must therefore declare such changes as soon as possible to your Fund.

 

  • What changes must I report to the Fund?

  • I have just changed address, what procedures should I follow?
    • You must declare your change of address at the earliest opportunity by sending the "Change of Address" form to Family Benefits Derpartment.

    • The country of residence of the household is a condition of access to family allowances provided by CAMTI, so you can immediately check your status on "Check your rights"
  • My employment status or that of the other parent of my child(ren) has changed, what procedures have to be followed?
    • Reporting your change of employment status (or that of the other parent of your child(ren)) at the earliest opportunity helps us to deal with your entitlements properly.
    • You must give details especially in the event of loss of employment, a resumption of activity, by sending the "change of employment status" form to the Family Benefits Derpartment.
    • As the father's and mother's work is a condition of access to family allowances provided by C.A.M.T.I., you can immediately check your situation on the heading "Check your rights"
  • My child is living in accommodation related to the continuation of his / her studies, what procedures should be followed?
    • If your child has left the family home to pursue his / her studies and is still dependent on you, it does not affect your access to family allowances provided by C.A.M.T.I.
    • On the other hand, your child cannot claim housing allowance from the French CAF for accommodation.
  • My child is no longer dependent, what procedures should be followed?
    • If your child is no longer dependent and has permanently left your home, his / she is no longer considered as a dependent child and access to family allowances provided by C.A.M.T.I. is closed.
    • You must therefore declare this change at the earliest opportunity to the Family Benefits Derpartment.
    • Moreover, as this situation affects your child's health insurance, you should contact our Medical Services Department.
  • My child has ended his / her education, what should I do?
    • If your child has completed his / her education, if he / she stops his / her education for a time or permanently, or if he / she is taking up employment, access to family allowances provided by C.A.M.T.I. is closed.
    • You must declare this situation at the earliest opportunity by sending a sworn statement and, if he / she is taking up employment, a copy of his / her employment contract to the Family Benefits Derpartment.
    • Moreover, as this situation affects your child's health insurance, you should contact our Medical Services Department.
    • NB : rights may be maintained, under certain conditions, for persons registering for the first time with the Employment Office.
  • If my child is gainfully employed during the school holidays, what do I need to do?
    • If your child has a professional activity in the summer season, his/her revenue is neutralised and the payment of family benefits is not called into question, on the condition he/she resumes schooling for the coming school year.
    • If, however, this activity follows the final years of schooling, payment of family benefits ends with the end of the first full month of your child’s professional activity.
