Decrease in the Employer Contribution Rate to Unedic on May 1, 2025
Friday, 9 May 2025
The French Convention on Unemployment Insurance of November 2024 provides for the reduction of the employer contribution rate to Unedic to 4% as of May 1, 2025.
As part of an amendment to extend this Convention, this change also applies to employers in the Principality of Monaco.
The employer rate therefore decreases from 4.05% to 4% on May 1, 2025. Note that the employee contribution rate remains unchanged (2.40%).
The new employer contribution rate will be automatically applied to May wage returns, which must be in place no later than June 10, 2025.
The Contribution Recovery Service is at your disposal for any additional information on this subject.
